Day 1: Arrival in Charleston

Welcome to South Carolina! Transfer to your hotel and get settled in. Then, the rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore the city.

Day 2: Sightseeing tour of Charleston

  • Learn how the Gullah Geechee people trace their ancestry back to West Africa, before their ancestors were forcibly brought to America and enslaved
  • See how they developed a native creole language of the same name, as well as distinct music, art, and traditions

    This was my first trip traveling with GO Head and it did not disappoint me, the tour and places we visited were amazing, and the food was great. Our tour guide was a breath of fresh air. I had an amazing time. I would travel with Go Head Tour again.

    I enjoyed Savannah much more than Charleston. The Middleton Estate was nice but the garden tour entirely too long. Hyman’s was a wonderful restaurant. I loved everything about Savannah and plan to go back. Paula Deen’s restaurant was a disappointment. I was hoping for more southern vegetables....
