This tour was absolutely amazing. The tour guide is wonderful. The places were amazing. The coach driver was amazing as well. The only part I could have skipped would have been the quick stop at the Black Madonna. It was nice to see but too crowded and you felt as if you were invading someone's worship. Definately would recommend. ALso - do the extension to Berlin. THat was my husbands favorite stop out of all of the trips. HE is a huge history buff. I would recommend all of the extra excursions as well. We did not do the one to the horses but wish we would have. The dinner cruises are ok but maybe not worth the money. We had a lot more fun exploring onour own and getting lost in the subway systems. DO NOT BE AFRAID OF THE SUBWAYS. Buy a three day or all day ticket and explore. Technically, you can't get lost, you just have to find your way home. Rick Steves was a good help as well. I know many of the people we went with were envious of our books. We did his walking tours and he led us to some places we never woudl have seen without his books. Try the Langosh in Budapest. To die for! Can't say enough good things. The hotels were great also. Probably food overload but it was nice to have breakfast every day. Some of the tours such as in the castles were rushed but had to be because you only have so much time in each city. Are you going or did you decide against it. We just booked the Beijing, Xian, Shanghai and Hong Kong, Forbidden City, Tiannamen Square, the Great Wall, the Terra Cotta Warriors, and cruise down the Yangtze River in September.
