Ancient Peru & Machu Picchu

I'll be going on this tour next June.  What kind of weather can we expect?  Is there anything in particular we need to take clothing-wise?  Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi there

Must take altitude pills. I will help you a lot. Go to your doctor for the prescription. Altitude might not affect you, but it's better to be prepared. You might get very tired easily, and sleepy and your heart might feel heavy palpitation. I actually saw a very healthy guy bed ridden due to the altitude - actually lost like 3 days on bed.

It is very cold, plan to take a heavy jacket and different layers. As the day wear off, the temperature will increase (bet 12-3pm being the warmest 70 degrees farenheit) early mornings are very very cold and nights as well. As the day wears off, you will taking off layers of clothes

Don't forget to take your beat up hiking boots. hat. Am sorry, if I forgot something.

In Cuzco, try to visit the restaurant Pacha Mama. It is a great place for peruvian food. It's near the main plaza.

I loved it. I know you will too.
